Toluca Baseball

Toluca Baseball, a competitive youth baseball league, founded in 1952, is the oldest youth baseball league in Southern California’s San Fernando Valley region. Toluca Baseball, affiliated with PONY baseball, offers a Spring and a Fall season for children from 5 to 14 years old.

Online registration

Q. How do I sign up online?
A. Click on Sign Up to Play and then follow the process until you complete filling in all the forms, including making payment. You will receive an email confirmation when you have successfully registered.

Q. Can I register online without paying?
A. No. The league and the online registration system require that you pay the fees in full during the registration process.

Q. How can I pay online?
A. A credit or debit card from Visa, Mastercard and Discover. We also now accept checks electronically

Q. What software does the league use for online registration?

Scholarships

Q. Who qualifies for a Scholarship?
A. The league sets aside a limited number of scholarships each year to help families who have encountered financial problems. These scholarships are based on need. In the past, families who have lost the breadwinner, became disabled or who have lost a permanent full time job are examples of some families that have qualified for a scholarship.

Q. How do I apply for a scholarship?
A. Complete the scholarship application located in the Sign Up to Play page of the website. When complete, mail it to the attention of the League Registrar at the leagues PO Box located in the Contact Us page of the website.

Q. Can I still register online if I am applying for a scholarship?
A. Yes, complete the process as outlined above. During this process, you will be charged the prevaling amount at the time of your registration. Once you are approved, a credit, either partial or full payment, will be credited back to the credit card/debit card you used during the registration process.

Age requirements

Q. How do I determine what division my child will play in based on his/her age?
A. Click on Baseball Divisions and Review the Division Age Matrix. Division placement is based on the childs age as of April 30th of 2008.

Q. Can I play my child up or down based on his/her skill level?
A. No. We are an based league.

Q. Can I ask for an exception in a special circumstance?
A. No. We are part of the PONY (Protect Our Nations Youth) Baseball organization and they set the age requirements. We do not set them at the local level. We have to follow the rules established by PONY National or we will be in violation of our charter.
